Street Snow Removal

What does the City pay to have our roads plowed after a snow? I think they are plowed after we have received 2" inches of snow, but not 100% on that. We personally had 1-1/2" at three different areas we measured at 6:00 am this morning. We were awakened by the plows at 4:45 am, which if genuinely needed we don't mind.

I personally think 2" inches of snow is not worth plowing and is a ridiculous waste of City funds. With most vehicles being front wheel drive or all wheel drive these days, 2" is nothing.

I do think the City should clear the sidewalk areas that surround our City for walkers and those in wheelchairs. And we should consider raising the snowfall amount for needed plowing.
