Many of our Residents have Storm Sewer Grates located somewhere on their property. These Grates should not, and according to MSD, never be removed. While on a walk this afternoon, Wednesday 10-17-18, I noticed that a sewer grate was pulled back leaving the sewer partially open, I covered the sewer opening with the cover and continued on my walk.

Please do not remove the Sewer Grates a Child could easily fall into one and only the worse can happen. Just please keep the Grates clear of any debris such as leaves, grass, and anything else that could stop the water from entering the sewer system.
