Interim City Councilperson

Started by ellen on Tuesday, September 18 2018, 12:35 pm ·

At last night's City Council meeting, I was nominated and approved to fill the open position for interim City Councilperson. This position will last until January 31, 2019. (The slate of candidates for the next election has already been set, as I previously posted, so you will vote for them in November).

My area of focus will be the lighting grid, so if you see any lights out, let me know. I will be walking the neighborhood in the evening to observe the lighting.

Although that is the stated focus of my position, of course, I hope to be involved and active with all facets of working for the citizens of Woodlawn Park. If you have any concerns, questions, or comments, I am available, I will listen, and I will work to find solutions. My email address is elevro@gmail.com. My phone number is (502) 210-8080 (Please leave a message. I know that's old school, but I don't generally return unknown phone numbers, so the only way I will know if you are from WP is if you leave a message).

I hope to serve you well during my short tenure.

The interim position actually ends on December 31, 2018. I apologize for the error in the original post.
